Mexico presents the campaign ‘Order a Mexican coffee’

With the aim of highlighting national identity, promoting the consumption of Mexican coffee, and supporting local producers, the Ministry of Tourism and the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development have launched the campaign “Order a Mexican coffee”.

The initiative, which is supported by the Confederation of National Chambers of Commerce, Services and Tourism (Concanaco Servytur), invites business chambers, associations, service providers, and the population in general to join the campaign, which also seeks to promote purchases of Made in Mexico products. Deployment of more than 5,000 soldiers begins at Mexico’s Northern Border

On the morning of February 4, 3,190 elements of the National Guard and the Mexican Army arrived at various border points. Of those, 990 were flown by air using military aircraft as follows: 270 agents from Campeche to Tijuana, Baja California; a Boeing 727 flying 360 personnel from Mérida, Yucatán, to Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua; and another one carrying 360 guards from Cancún, Q. Roo, to Hermosillo, Sonora.
